A simple explanation
The EarthSun community
EarthSun is a community for understanding our place in nature and how human beliefs developed.
EvidenceSymbolValue
Life developed here
The Sun supplies energy, Earth provides the conditions for life, and human beings developed within this system.
Religions helped societies function
People created shared beliefs to explain the world, organise conduct, preserve identity and live with uncertainty.
Place and time shaped belief
Climate, landscape, survival, culture and power influenced different traditions. Teachers, priests and rulers worked with the knowledge available to them. No one had every answer.
Understanding can keep growing
Science and education help us test old explanations. EarthSun keeps useful wisdom, questions unsupported claims and remains open to better answers.
