What does EarthSun say about consciousness?
Consciousness is a real feature of experience and an active field of scientific and philosophical inquiry. EarthSun does not claim that its nature is fully explained, that it survives death or that planets and stars are conscious. It keeps unresolved questions open.

Because conscious experience is where suffering and flourishing are felt, uncertainty about its mechanisms does not remove its ethical importance.
EarthSun’s position is bounded by the public Living Foundation. Where the approved record is incomplete, the correct response is to preserve the uncertainty rather than turn a plausible idea into doctrine.
