Is EarthSun based on science?
EarthSun accepts established scientific accounts of nature, including evolution, deep time, physics and chemistry. Science informs its factual claims; it does not scientifically prove EarthSun’s symbols or values. Ethical commitments such as reducing suffering are chosen and argued for, not disguised as laboratory findings.
A deeper answer
Science is a method and body of inquiry, not scripture. EarthSun must revise factual statements when reliable evidence changes. The Living Foundation records that duty and separates evidence from interpretation.
EarthSun’s position is bounded by the public Living Foundation. Where the approved record is incomplete, the correct response is to preserve the uncertainty rather than turn a plausible idea into doctrine.
Its factual account should remain compatible with reliable scientific evidence.
